Boy Scout Troop 711 Aluminum Can Drive
St. Charles’ Boy Scout Troop 711 will be holding its monthly aluminum can drive on Saturday, April 22. The money earned is used to help defray the cost of scouting events such as camps and field trips. Girls and women of all ages are invited to a Tea to Honor Our Lady on Saturday, May 6, from 2-4 pm in Doran Hall. Join us for a delightful afternoon tea, including treats, hymns, and devotions to Our Lady. Bring your mother, daughters, aunts, sisters, neighbors, and friends. We have some lovely door prizes! Wear your most spring-y clothing, and any lady wearing a hat gets two door prize tickets! You can also get two door prize tickets if you bring a special tea cup—share its story if you like. Tickets will be sold in the atrium after all Masses on the weekends of April 22/23 and 29/30. Tickets are only $10 for adults and $5 for children under ten. Northeast Chorale needs high school students and young adults to join them for Northeast Chorale Goes to Broadway. They will be doing music from 11 different classic and modern Broadway shows. 2) Display and sell additional pieces of your own art if you donate a piece for the silent auction
3) Provide music, spoken word, poetry, or other entertainment during the event.
4) Help prepare and/or serve food during the event.

Catechetical Institute to Offer Ongoing Formation Classes
This fall, the Archbishop Harry J. Flynn Catechetical Institute will begin a two-year course in two different locations. Classes will be held at Mary, Mother of the Church in Burnsville on Monday evenings and at the Church of St. Andrew in Elk River on Tuesday evenings. Taught by some of the best instructors in the Twin Cities, such as Bishop Andrew Cozzens, Jeff Cavins, Deacon Joe Michalak, Fr. John Lockeman, Dr. Bill Stevenson, Fr. Peter Williams, Christina Smith, Alyssa Bormes, and more, the program follows the four pillars of the Catechism of the Catholic Church and will make sense of all things Catholic, deepen your faith, and lay out the road map to heaven. The classes are divided into four eleven-week modules, with two Saturday morning formative sessions per module.
